The day has just started, the sun is shining; it is time for exercise and go out to jogby the boulevard of Boca Del Río, feel the breeze of the ocean and admire the beauty of its beaches.

Boca del Río is located in the Gulf of Mexico's coast side, which ends in the Jamapa river. it´s known as a fisherman village and is one of the most important touristic places of Veracruz.

To the rythm of “son jarocho” and caribbean songs, we get closer to the Zocalo in the Centro Historico, where the Municipal Hall and the Santa Ana Church are located. Just a few steps further, we see the Plaza Banderas where you can find great restaurants offering traditional dishes such as Pescado Empapelado, Chipotle de Jaiba, Caracol Salad among other delights.

If you feel really energetic, take a tour to learn about the beaches here, which happen to be extremately close to each other. For example Mocambo Beach is known for its soft waves and its long surface that allow travelers to practice sports and other aquatic activities, boat trips and horseback riding. Here you can relax in the shade of one of the many palapas while you enjoy a a nice snack.

But, if you prefer to be more connected with nature, then you have to go to Alvarado, a place where you can practice scuba diving. The beach Antón Lizardo is ideal to practice apnea or free diving. This is a favorite spot both for professional and amateur divers.

At Boca del Río you will find all kinds of hotels, its warm weather is ideal for visiting this place throughout the year.
