The Agua Blanca State Park is a beautiful Protected Natural Area located in the municipality of Macuspana, state of Tabasco.

This large reserve has 2,025 hectares of jungle, flora and fauna, which makes it the ideal place to be 100% in contact with nature. Here you can enjoy and live the best experiences in ecotourism from camping, hiking and rappelling for lovers of extreme sports.

During the warm seasons, cool off in its crystalline waters and its beautiful waterfalls that form natural pools.

One of the most important attractions of this State Park are the Ixtac-Ha 'grottos, which in Mayan mean white water. According to a legend, it is the name of a princess whose cry created the waterfall, when hitting the stones it raises belts of foam and forms watery curtains.

Other of its greatest attractions are the Agua Blanca Waterfalls, from which the park takes its name. There is a stream that comes out of a cave and flows between the rocks forming ponds and beautiful waterfalls.

An easy place to find

To get to this spectacular place, leaving Villahermosa you have to take highway 186 to kilometer 71 and follow the signs along the rural highway until you reach this park.

This magical space is the ideal place for people looking for direct contact with nature, also for those who like extreme sports and enjoy interesting excursions.

It is open from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
