During your stay in downtown Alamos, Sonora, visit the María Félix Museum, a venue dedicated to one of Mexico's most important actresses: Maria Felix, “La Doña”, who acted in over 40 films from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema.

Its old construction with wide spaces, allowed it to be used as a hotel and museum. The name of the actress and two photographs of her face on one of the facades that welcomes you to tour every corner of this legendary place.

Before going to the museum, walk around the central courtyard, while you watch the fountain in the center and the garden surrounding it. The essence of María Félix's childhood is still preserved inside the building, as it can be noticed in the style of the furniture.

In the museum you can see some of “La Doña's” personal objects, such as shoes, brushes, jewelry boxes, clothes and even wardrobes of the actress she used in some movies. On the walls of the rooms you can see posters of some of the films in which she participated.

Relive the past of this beautiful place that saw the birth of the maximum “diva” of the Mexican cinema, spending a couple of nights in her hotel. It has six cozy rooms, in which you will have a pleasant stay. The construction preserves the style of the old house of the actress and in its decoration you will find portraits and paintings of La Doña.
