A few meters away you will find the Ex-Convent of San Agustin, which was built as a refuge to contain the attacks of the Chichimecas in 1557. The site withstood a tireless fight and some wars which left it brutally destroyed. If you go inside, you will notice that the main entrance was previously the back. Climb the bell tower to have the best view of the town and admire the Cerro de la Silleta.
