Museo de la Cultura Maya

This museum is considered one of the most complete in the state, dedicated to the Mayan culture. The Museo de la Cultura Maya is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00.

Museo de la Ciudad

This beautiful building is part of the Centro Cultural de las Bellas Artes and is the ideal place to learn about the history of Chetumal (Grand Costa Maya), the Mayans, the Colony and the Caste War. Part of its collection of objects was donated by the community itself, including weapons, coins, vessels and a scale replica of a ship.

The museum hours are from Tuesday to Saturday from 09:00 to 19:00 and on Sundays from 09:00 to 14:00.

Payo Obispo Museo Maqueta

Designed by the architect Luis Reinhard and installed in his honor. The name Payo Obispo was the name of the city when it was founded, in 1915 became the Capital of Quintana Roo, adopting the name of Chetumal. Enjoy the guided tours and learn about the history of this wonderful destination.

Museo del Faro

It is one of the most important architectural pieces in Chetumal (Grand Costa Maya), the museum has five rooms in which you will learn about navigation, the operation of the lighthouse, as well as being able to enjoy a nautical simulator.

Mural del Congreso
