Much of Huautla's history is linked to the Mazatec priestess whose knowledge of millenary rituals based on hallucinogenic mushrooms to heal the body and soul brought this Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) worldwide recognition, making it a must-see.

To reach it, you must go to Calle de Hidalgo No. 30, where you will find this building whose facade is blue built-in 1750, but in 1991 it was converted into a museum dedicated to Maria Sabina, undoubtedly the most famous settler.

You will be able to know the room of adobe in which she rested, besides other rooms where she looked to cure the mind of those who visited her by means of mushrooms, in addition to photographs of great celebrities at a world-wide level who at some time got to visit her.

Currently, the place is attended by the fourth generation of her family, who inherited the tradition and have spiritual guides on-site, in addition to renting cabins to expand the experience and service of temazcal built with tree branches.
