The capital of the state of Nuevo León, is one of the most important cities in our country. In the poem Sol de Monterrey, Alfonso Reyes describes the days as moments where light entered from all sides, giving rein to imagine why 45 degrees do nothing to the “regios” (people from Monterrey); “In my childhood I did not know shadow, but resolana. Every window was the sun, every room was windows ”, expressed the native poet of those lands.
 
Where to stay in Monterrey?
As in any destination, staying in its downtown will facilitate mobility and help make the best of the day, from there it will take you a few minutes to get to tourist spots, such as the Old Town, the Macroplaza, the Paseo Santa Lucía and Parque Fundidora, among many other places. Do not worry if you have too much time, going from one place to another will not take you long and will allow you to see a lot of places in the same day.
 
Monterrey has a privileged climate throughout the year, so visit anytime of year.
