Casco de Jauja

Tepic

It was in the 19th century when the British company Barron & Forbes settled in Tepic, Nayarit, with a textile factory.

After its boom times when it represented one of the most important economic and investment sources in western Mexico, the factory suffered a fire, leaving only the vestiges of its helmet, which have become one of the tourist attractions of the city.

The Ruins of Jauja are in the National Catalog of Real Estate Historical Monuments of the INAH.
