Located in the historic center, within the Municipal Building, this old colonial-style building was built in 1918 and currently has six exhibition rooms.
The museum houses an archaeological collection, as well as paintings and photographs related to the history of Ixtlán. Here you will find figures of warriors, instruments, obsidian pieces, photographs of the municipality, as well as exhibitions of various renowned painters.
The museum hours are from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00. Its location is Av. Miguel Hidalgo 45 in the Historic Center.
