San Luis Potosí

This route begins in the beautiful city of San Luis Potosí. Walk through the downtown area and be enchanted by its cathedral and the numerous set of colonial buildings in baroque and neoclassical styles. Enjoy its culture in its museums and admire the most beautiful surrealist artwork in Xilitla.

The Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) of Tula is more than 400 years old, it is the oldest entity in Tamaulipas, so you can only imagine the amount of history that you will find here. Discover it in its main attractions such as the Iglesia de San Antonio de Padua (Church of San Antonio de Padua), the Capilla del Rosario (Rosario Chapel), the old Escuela Minerva (Minerva School) and the Plaza de Armas (Arms Square). Try the desert fruit sherbets and make sure you take home a beautiful cuero tamaulipeca, a leather jacket with fine ornaments.

The route ends in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, where you will visit the Basilica de Nuestra Señora del Refugio (Nuestra Señora del Refugio Basilica), the Museo de Arqueología (Archeology Museum) and Plaza Hidalgo (Hidalgo Square). The Santuario de Guadalupe (Guadalupe Sanctuary) is a great place to admire the landscape and end this trip with a flourish.
