Then you will head towards the state of Morelos, with a first stop at the Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) of Tlayacapan. Here is where Olmec background and miscegenation are combined, this is reflected in temples and ancient buildings that you can admire, such as the old Convento de San Juan Bautista (San Juan Bautista Convent), or the chapels of Tlayacapan. It is also famous for the Dance of the Chinelos so you can get to enjoy some of its performances. Here you can find beautiful ceramic crafts, such as vases, flower pots and even tableware.

Then you will go through Oaxtepec, an ancient resting place of Aztec kings, it is surrounded by interesting archaeological sites, vestiges of colonial buildings such as the Hospital de la Santa Cruz de Cristo (Santa Cruz de Cristo Hospital), as well as spas.

Later you will arrive at the mythical Tepoztlán, a place where magic and landscape merge. Located in the Cerro del Tepozteco, this Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) is ideal to forget about the world for a while. Here you can experience the temazcal, or visit the Pyramid of Tepozteco and the Temple and Ex-Convent of La Natividad.

To end the route, Cuernavaca is the perfect destination. Known as the City of Eternal Spring, for its magnificent mild climate and beautiful flowery surroundings, it is perfect for relaxation. Take the opportunity to visit El Palacio de Cortés (Cortez Palace) -dating back to 1535- its beautiful cathedral, or the aqueduct. We recommend you to try the exquisite mole de pepita or the Cuernavaca-style enchiladas, you are going to love them!
