San José de Iturbide

When you visit San Jose, declared as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, walk among the viceregal heritage, cave paintings, abandoned mines, canyons, waterfalls, streams, dams and giant barrel cacti. Surrounded by forests of oyamel, pine and oak, it is the perfect place to spend your days camping, hiking and mountain biking.

If you prefer to rest, why not enjoy the hammocks in the barbecue area as the sound of cascading water from the waterfalls and aquifers relaxes you. Cabins are also available if you want to spend the night without having to camp and inhale the freshness of the countryside.
