Get ready to spend a day full of adrenaline in the Parque Bicentenario Puente de Calderón (Bicentennial Park Calderon Bridge), located 37 kilometers ( 23 miles ) to the east of Guadalajara.

El Puente de Calderón is the most emblematic and important monument in the history of Jalisco during the War of Independence, it highlights its great architectural beauty built in the 17th century.

In 1932 it was declared a historical monument, today it is a park where culture is combined with recreational and ecotourism activities. You can jump off the zip line, pass by the hanging bridge, visit the ruins, see the monuments and from the viewpoints admire the natural and architectural beauty that Zapotitlan gives you.

Don't forget to swim in the fresh waters of the river and enjoy its waterfall, as well as the artificial geysers that throw water and steam.

To get to know the surroundings, rent a boat and take a 20 minute ride on the river. If you prefer a different experience, enter the temazcal to a session guided by a shaman for spiritual relaxation and stress reduction.

The park has a route for mountain biking and athletics, grills, children's area of rustic games and large green areas for you to spend a day in contact with nature.
