Tixhiñú Waterfalls

Aculco de Espinoza

If the Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) of Aculco left you breathless, wait until you see this place. These gigantic waterfalls are the result of the water currents that forms in the Nado River, which intertwines with a ravine of basaltic columns that reach 30 meters (about 98 feet) in height.

The best time to visit them is during the rainy summer, as the river’s flow is even more powerful and a natural pool of cold waters is formed, suitable only for the bravest.

To get to the top of the waterfall, there is an adapted and paved path, so it is not hard to climb there. If you want to go down to the foot of this waterfall, you will have to walk along a path surrounded by nature, something that will definitely be a walk connecting with nature, tranquility and the opportunity to capture incredible videos and photos.
