La Rodadora Museum

Ciudad Juárez

It all started as a project, with the idea of building an interactive museum that would invite children and young people to have an approach to science, technology, art and culture in the same space.

El Museo La Rodadora is considered one of the largest museums in Mexico for its more than 120 interactive exhibitions that bring each of the rooms to life.

It is a space dedicated to awakening interest in science among children on both sides of the border. It symbolizes the union of many convinced wills of the Juarez people.

It has seven interactive rooms, starting with La Sala Permanente (“The Permanent Room”) where you will get to know the natural, social and participatory environment of the city. Then you will go to the Rodateca, where you can consult some of the more than four thousand books it has. It is designed to help children discover the love of reading.

In Lego Education, short workshops are given through the use of materials with which children learn programming in a friendly way. The temporary exhibition hall is a cultural, artistic, educational and scientific alternative where extraordinary interactive and educational experiences are shared.

In addition to the museum's permanent program, other alternatives are offered that include workshops and additional activities for all ages.

For cinema lovers, different science-related films are shown in the 3D cinema room. Each film is shown for four months.
