    Where the adventure begins

Our first stop is at the Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de Cancún, where our trip begins. There are various options to get to any of our destinations, we can choose to take a bus, which takes us to the center of the city, or also a bus that takes us to Playa del Carmen, a city that is part of the Riviera Maya.

Or if you prefer, there are taxi services, you can also rent a car at any of the various companies found within the airport.

What cities constitute the Riviera Maya?

In order to decide what to visit, it is important to know more about the Riviera Maya and the attractions that it has to offer.

    An escape from the city

Just 30 minutes from Cancun, the city of Puerto Morelos is the ideal destination if what you are looking for is privacy and tranquility. It is a small municipality, so you will not find much flow of people, its white sand beaches are ideal for resting.

In the center of the city, there are many places where you can enjoy a delicious meal; they are very close to the beach, so you can easily explore a large part of the city on foot. The main attraction is the Parque Nacional Arrecife de Puerto Morelos, it is necessary to snorkel in order to get to know the reef and the wonders that the sea of Puerto Morelos has.

The heart of the Riviera Maya

The great city of the Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen is located one hour from Cancun and is known for its “5ta Avenida”, an avenue full of restaurants, stores for shopping, museums, and endless activities.
The best thing is to get lost for a while on La 5ta Avenida and be amazed by its splendor, it is easy to get to the beautiful beaches of Playa del Carmen from there, they are only a few steps away, you can visit the aquarium that It is located on the same avenue but on the corner with 14th street, or enjoy one of the tours they offer.

Capital of Nautical Life: Puerto Aventuras

Made up of two bays, and about two hours from Cancun, Puerto Aventuras is the next destination that is part of the Riviera Maya. Like Puerto Morelos, Puerto Aventuras is the perfect place to rest from the routine, known for being the Capital of Nautical Life, it does live up to its title.

If what you want is to venture with some of the activities that Puerto Aventuras has for you, the city has an excellent golf course, and on the maritime side, there are several boats so you can live the fishing experience, or if you prefer something quieter, you can rent a boat to navigate in the Caribbean Sea.

During the months of May and June, regattas are held, to keep the maritime spirit always on the rise, so we recommend you visit Puerto Aventuras during those times.

    A treasure of the Caribbean

With the best Caribbean environments, Akumal is located two hours from Cancun, and one of its main attractions is its incredible beach. With the tide always low, many describe the sea of Akumal as a natural pool, since the sea barely exceeds the waist of the visitors and there is no swell.

Its fine white sand holds a very important job, Akumal is a sanctuary for sea turtles, and if you venture to snorkel or dive through the crystal clear waters, you may be lucky enough to see one.

Tulum, the center of Mayan culture
The Magical Town at the Riviera Maya, Tulum, about two hours from Cancun, is the perfect place if you are looking to connect with nature. Known for keeping a Mayan treasure, a few steps from the beach, there are vestiges of what was one of the most important civilizations in the southeast.

If you want to visit a large part of Tulum, and in a short time, the ideal is to rent a bicycle and go for a trip through the jungle, it is best to be accompanied by a guide, and learn more about the history of this place.
