A journey into the depths of Cancun

Safe scuba diving is one of the most popular activities to do when you are on vacation, swimming with the sea creatures will make you feel part of the ocean kingdom.

The sea holds many legends of sunken treasures that many yearn to discover, but if you really want to find more riches than you can imagine, we invite you to immerse yourself in the Museo Subacuatico de Arte located in Cancun Quintana Roo. Created in 2009 as a project for the recovery of the reefs between Isla Mujeres and Cancun, you will find more than 500 sculptures among which you can swim, giving you the experience of entering a true submerged city.

The works are made with marine concrete that serves as a home for marine flora and fauna, not to invade the habitat of the species that have inhabited these waters for years.

You have three options to enjoy this museum. One is by boat with a glass bottom navigating over the sculptures if you want to enter the water, you can snorkel, but of course we recommend that you go scuba diving.

The Museo subacuatico de Arte is open to the public every day of the week from 07:00 to 16:00. The starting point is in the Cancun Hotel Zone at one of the docks designated when booking your trip.

The Palace of Mexico

The most emblematic museum in the capital, the most beloved, is the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. Inaugurated in 1934 it was built to be the most emblematic building in the city, surely you have seen images of this place or have even heard of it because of its popularity, but today you are going to know what it is inside it.

The best of Mexican culture is found in the murals that adorn the interior of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. These reflect the thoughts of artists who had the opportunity to immortalize their work and that you can enjoy today, making your visit an enriching experience.

If you are one of those who like to bring out your most artistic side and share your ideas, this place is going to enchant you because it has a section that exhibits local and international works where you can participate in a debate giving your opinion. You will discover that you have more in common with the other visitors and even with the artists of these works.

To know if you like something you must first try it, so you should not leave without having enjoyed a good opera. There is a perfectly equipped space to present works that enchant anyone who watches them, the same space where Mexican musical artists have performed. It is a unique opportunity and an honor to be a spectator within this venue.

It is a must-see that gives you the opportunity to also know its surroundings, it is located in the historic center of the city, very close to the Hemiciclo a Benito Juárez, another must-see monument. Remember that it opens its doors every day of the week from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but we recommend you go on Sunday when the entry is free.

Vibra alto en Monterrey

In every corner of Mexico you will find a piece of culture and history that will make your trip even more pleasant, but if you really want to know the best, Monterrey Nuevo León is your destination, more specifically the Museo de la Historia Mexicana. Being in the center of the city, next to the government building and the Monterrey macroplaza, this is the most important historical exhibition in Mexico.

Each gallery has interactive sections to give you a new perspective on the events that occurred, which are displayed on the walls of this museum.

Unlike the previous ones, this one has two “brothers” who share a complex being the Museo del Palacio and the Museo del Noreste respectively. You will learn how the American continent was populated up until the independence of Mexico, going through modern times and with a space dedicated to nature and mother earth. The most complete there is so far.

Places like these seek to share with the world what is inside, so you are allowed to record your stay, of course with respect and with prior authorization. We suggest that your visit be with the family, as it is more enjoyable.

Keep in mind that it is open Tuesday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Make sure you go camera-ready and carry your adventurous spirit.
