Cancún: A safe destination

The main source of income for this destination is tourism, therefore, to ensure the well-being of its visitors, Cancún obtained the ‘Safe Travels’ seal, granted by World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). This ensures that the city complies with global standards that guarantee the necessary health measures to protect the health of tourists and ensure a safe stay on your next visit. 

You cannot visit Cancun and leave without first having known the turquoise sea and white sand that the beautiful beaches offer, due to the "new normal", protocols have been carried out to guarantee that your visit is always safe, so the beaches are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a capacity that does not exceed 60%; When entering, the temperature of the visitors will be taken, it will be verified that the visitors wear a mask and that they do not enter with alcoholic beverages, the maximum number of people allowed per group is 5, there are already separate spaces for each family; complying with the required separation distance, and sports or physical activities that generate high contact should be avoided, if your face mask is disposable, the beach will have an orange trash can to deposit medical waste there and avoid that for any reason these end up in the sea.

Like the beaches, restaurants and hotels have implemented measures to offer you a unique experience. The allowed capacity should not exceed 60% and in order to protect visitors, QR codes have been implemented in order to avoid the use of printed menus in restaurants. The employees of the establishments must wear face masks, there will be stations with antibacterial gel at each key point, and constant monitoring of the objects used by the visitor. For now the nightclubs are closed, but do not be discouraged, Cancún has many more adventures to offer you in open spaces with incomparable natural attractions.
