Opened in 1981 in the historic center of La Paz, the State Regional Museum's main objective is to conserve and exhibit the South Californian cultural heritage.
Through its rooms you can learn about the geological formation process of the peninsula and the characteristics of the flora and fauna of the region; archeology where the way of life of the first settlers is recreated; the creation of civilian towns, the impact of the Independence of Mexico, the revolutionary movements and the recent historical processes.
