Get in the heart of an ancient guardian of history.

Marvel at the beauty of Pinos, walk through its streets, stop in time by its casonas and New-Spain temples, and be surprised by the historical wealth kept in this small town. Know its gardens and explore the treasures that surround them as it justifiably received the title of “Magic Town”.

Go to the Miguel Hidalgo Garden, known as Plaza de Armas, and start the tour in the San Francisco Temple, the main church.
Enjoy the small garden that welcomes you and know its simple façade although it does not only have modest decoration, inside, you will find a dazzling surprise. Admire the imposing altarpiece that dominates the high altar, decorated with intricate churrigueresque details in honor to Nuestro Padre Jesus, which is popular in town.
Explore the convent and discover its courtyard, carefully restored with pigments identical to the original, from the Century XVII.

When you leave the sanctuary, wander the paths of the park, bordered by green gardens and wrought-iron benches, to discover the beautiful kiosk hidden in the middle of the esplanade. Walk under the shadow of the Centennial Portal and admire the Clock Tower Solitary, which from the southern end of the square boasts its neo-Gothic elegance under a colorful tile roof. On its right, the arches of the Portal of the Pigeons indicate the way to get to the Parish of San Matias.
