Izamal is often known as the City of Three Cultures, having a remarkable mixture of the pre-Hispanic, viceregal and post-independence periods. Thanks to its unique culture and its rich historical past, it is easy to understand why Izamal was declared as Pueblo Mágico (Magic Town).
