Meet the sacred spaces of Valle de Bravo
Take a dip in one of the may refreshing streams, waterfalls, and spas in Zozocolco de Hidalgo, one of the town’s most famous attractions, where you can escape from your daily routine.
LIVE THE MYSTERY OF THE CASCADA DEL DIABLO
If you dare, take a dip into the mysterious Cascada del Diablo, a deep body of water respected by the locals, who prefer not to enter it. Legend has it that the water in the pool was created by the devil himself after appearing to a Totonaca Indian, whom he tried to lure into becoming part of his army. Feel the fresh water and the warm landscapes to convince yourself you are the owner of your body and soul.
Also, you can walk along the green trails that connect the waterfalls of the region. Eventually, go to the small pools of La Junta and El Callejon.
LOOK HOW TIME HAS PASSED IN EL CALICHE
Keep walking and overcome the roots and trunks of old trees that decorate the forest until you reach El Caliche. Admire the impressive rocky formation, where time and the natural erosion of the waterfall have created natural passageways for hikers to walk through. Feel the refreshing streams as you walk through the elegant natural archways, a beautiful site with bright and clear emerald waters on either side that has been carefully taken care of by the people of the region.
