Meet the sacred spaces of Valle de Bravo
Carlos Adampol Galindo
Get ready for a tour of Yumka, a space of more than 250 acres that have been preserved without human intervention. It has become a theme park that recreates the environment in the jungles of America and Africa for the flora and fauna.
ENJOY THE FREEDOM OF THE JUNGLE
Walk along the paths that cross the warm, humid jungle. Take a tour with a specialized guide who will share the names, characteristics and curiosities of a variety of species of trees, plants and animals that live in the area. Commune with the deer, raccoons, howler monkeys and iguanas that you will find in your path. You will be surprised at how habituated they have become to be in contact with humans.
CAPTURE IT ON A PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARI
Go to the savannah area, climb on an open-air train and enjoy a photography safari taking pictures of antelopes, zebras, ostriches, elephants, giraffes, ferrets and rhinos that live practically in freedom. Make a stop at the lagoon, at the clubhouse, or the playground to explore the surroundings and have a snack.
LEARN ABOUT MORE SPECIES IN THE SAME PLACE
In the aviary, you can interact with birds in a habitat similar to their natural environment, and admire the big cats taking shelter in large pits or cages with windows. In the amphibian and reptile exhibition, you will find different species of snakes and amphibians. Be sure to visit the breathtaking orchid garden.
