Meet the sacred spaces of Valle de Bravo
Teotihuacan is one of the most important archaeological zones of Mexico with more than four kilometers of extension.
WALK THE ROAD OF THE DEAD
Walk almost two kilometers along the Calzada de Muertos, advance with the glorious step of a warrior towards the encounter with his gods. Let your sight overwhelm with the images of the sacred enclosures of carved stone and tepetate that flank your path. When you have in front of you the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon let the strength and energy of a civilization of thousands of years run through your body.
RISE TO THE PYRAMID OF THE SUN
Inhale deeply and with your eyes on the top ascend the two hundred and sixty steps that take you to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun. You can stop at each of the five stair landings. When you reach the top you will have the panoramic view of the landscape that the warriors had. Open your arms and receive the energy of this mythical monument.
ASCEND THE PYRAMID OF THE MOON
At the end of the Road of the Dead and facing north, rises the imposing Pyramid of the Moon. Get up its two hundred and forty-two steps with steady rhythm. Ceremonies were celebrated in the past for Goddess Chalchiutlicue at the summit of the pyramid as it is an excellent viewpoint from which you can enjoy a complete view of the archeological zone.
