Valle de Bravo is a picturesque village with a beautiful lake and a great variety of sport activities but it also possesses a great cultural treasure: the Mazahua community.
The community is known for their lively parties, music and crafts.

ENJOY THE FEAST OF SANTA MARIA
In summer, enjoy the Feast of Santa Maria, a celebration dedicated to worship the Black Christ. Dance with the mojigangas and have fun with the toritos. Enjoy a bowl of turkey with mole, try the barbeque and have a glass of pulque.

REKINDLE THE FESTIVAL OF SOULS
On the Day of the Dead, attend the Festival of Souls, which is an authentic feast where you can learn about the traditional gastronomy of all the towns in the State of Mexico and enjoy important musical events and sports tournaments.

TAKE AN EMBROIDERY WORKSHOPS
Stop by one of the workshops run by Mazahua women and learn about the art form that has been passed down for generations. The geometric figures embroidered on the fabric are an indication of the connection this legendary community has with the universe and with nature.
