Explore the Craft Center called Centro Artesanal El Oro, where culinary products, textiles, furniture and handicrafts throughout the State of Mexico are exhibited. There, you can find baskets woven with dry pine leaves, and the so-called "chiva", typical digestive liquor elaborated with anise and different herbs, with which, according to the locals, you can be cured "de espanto"; this means you’ll get used to drinking it.

Not far from there, is located the Mercado Municipal, which opens early everyday of the week. There you can taste traditional gastronomic creations of the region and make different purchases.

Keep walking and visit the traditional Dulcería Los Refranes, where they sell typical sweets, organic coffee, jams, vinaigrettes and other products.
