Meet the sacred spaces of Valle de Bravo
The fertile soil of the Popocatepetl volcano slopes and the mild climate of Atlixco have made this region one of the country's leading producers of plants.
Let your senses be your guide and discover the city’s wide range of nurseries. Visit the Colonia Cabrera neighborhood and stroll around its plots. Fall in love with the smell of flowers and vibrant greens. Great exhibition events and plant and flower markets are open in the summer and autumn months.
At noon, go to one of the many fish farms like San Baltazar Atlimeyaya or Xoulin, one of the most important. Fish for golden trout as you continue enjoying the flowers. Ask your hosts to cook the catch of the day to your liking: amandine style, steamed or with three cheese sauce.
