San Pablito is a small town of artisans who are dedicated to the production of amate paper that they have been able to preserve through the years.

Live the experience of making amate paper. Observe how  the bark of the trees along with lime boil until they, both are soft. Once soft, the fibers are rinsed, placed on a wooden board and pressed with a flattening machine. When the piece of paper is formed, is dried in the sun. Notice how the paper takes on different shades depending on the trees that were used to produce it.
