WALK THROUGH TACAMBARO’S STREETS
When you feel ready to start your journey, take a walk through the streets of this village and notice the white houses with red tile roofs. Although the town is beautiful, what makes it truly special is the warmth of its people, who would gladly invite you to their homes, making it easy to spend a few days away from the routine and closer to the magic. Doubtlessly, this place will make you feel at home.
VISIT THE TEMPLES OF TACAMBARO
Visit the Chapel of Santa Maria Magdalena, dating to the New Hispanic times, when the first missionaries who arrived in Mexico built this Viceregal building. Also visit the Cathedral of San Jeronimo, built in the mid 16th Century. Its interior decoration astonishes the visitors; Admire its Ionic pilasters complemented by gold moldings. Do not forget to visit the Neoclassical chapel nearby. Admire the small red brick dome designed by Manuel Gonzalez Galvan and built in the 1970s. These sacred temples are jewels of architectural heritage and invaluable historical relics.
