The interior of the Former Temple of San Agustin, now the Gertrudis Bocanegra Library, recounts memories of its cult, its history, and the knowledge of its people. Its tall, thick walls take you to a floor-to-ceiling mural that displays the evangelizing work of Bishop Don Vasco de Quiroga, the Independence, and the Mexican Revolution. A splendid work by the muralist Juan O'Gorman.

The colorful mural preside a room filled with books on shelves and worktables where students gather to browse through hundreds of pages of knowledge and to type in the nearby worlds of cyberspace. To this day, this scene provides continuity to the mural's narrative, updating the history of its inhabitants daily.
Join the scene and be part of the living mural.
