WALK ALONG ITS STREETS
The pedestrian streets meander in a ceremonial singing ascent consisting of singing and making offerings to the gods. While passing through, there are a variety of food stalls providing visitors with refreshments to lighten their climb.

CLIMB TO THE TOP
At the top, there is a stone effigy of Don Jose Maria Morelos y Pavon and his liberating insignia. Inside, the painter Ramon Alva de la Canal has immortalized the life of the hero. Climb an upward spiral staircase to enjoy a view of the horizon of Michoacan lands from a lookout.
