Stated as a "Magical Town", Huichapan means river of the willows and is one of the Hidalgo municipalities rich in history and culture. It is also known as The Second Cradle of Independence.

Visit the Municipal Palace and the religious center formed by three beautiful churches: the Virgin of Guadalupe Chapel, the San Mateo Apóstol Parish, and the Third Order Chapel surrounding the famous and imposing Atrial Cross. Their constructions are peculiar because they are mostly made of pink quarry stone.
Visit the Archeology and History Museum where you will see pre-Hispanic objects and reviews of outstanding characters.
Enjoy the central garden and the kiosk surrounded by green trees. See how the people of the region carve and sculpt unique pieces of quarry stone, as well as boots, booties and leather huaraches that you can buy as souvenirs or as gifts for your loved ones.
