MARVEL AT ITS ANCESTRAL PRISMS
The first thing you have to know is the Basaltic Prisms, a set of rocks shining with the sunlight, and which was formed thousands of years ago. Its 40-meter geometrical structure is imposing. In this geological phenomenon, the San Antonio Dam waters make up four waterfalls which happily play on the prisms.
GET TO KNOW THE MINING FORMER HACIENDAS
Travel to the past and admire the beauty of the nearby mining former haciendas, like Santa Maria Regla and San Juan Hueyapan, which were mainly dedicated to the agriculture and livestock farming. They are considered among the thirteen natural wonders of Mexico. They still have their stables, barns, large gardens, and chapels.
DISCOVER ITS LEGENDS
Walk through the Forest of Goblins and listen to the legends of these magical beings. El Huariche is a beautiful forest of sabinos with a set of equipped cabins. If you go to its viewpoint you will be able to see a wide valley and the Basaltic Prisms ravine located at only two kilometers from the place.
