Meet the sacred spaces of Valle de Bravo
La Quebrada is one of the most famous places with its original traditional activities in Acapulco. On a one hundred thirty-six foot cliff, local divers, who begin their training as children, dive into the waves of the Pacific in a pit that is scarce eleven feet deep.
Admire the ability of those who climb to the top and throw themselves into the space at the right moment when the waves are higher. Vibrate with the nocturnal spectacle of La Quebrada, in which the experienced divers dive one by one, or even three at a time, holding torches in their arms that blend fire with sunset and illuminate the night.
Observe sitting placidly from the lookout at the foot of the mountain or from the nightclub La Perla, which has been providing the divers admirers with good service since the forties.
