More than 400 years of Durango history awaits you in Mapimi, declared by UNESCO as World Heritage Site, where you can find architecture from the 17th and 18th Centuries. Continue onto the Temple Senor de Mapimi, built in 1772 in the Gothic style. The building is unique in having an ancient cemetery with beautiful tombs that belonged to foreigners who worked in the area.
