WALK AROUND THE CITY CENTER
Walk through the open streets populated with friendly and sincere people who like to see you smile. Discover the historical buildings surrounding you and stop in front of the small Temple of San Juan Bautista. Walk down the corridor towards the wooden door under the arch and look up at the colorful image of the Virgin of Guadalupe that welcomes you. Enter to discover the baptismal basin and the paintings depicting images of saints that date to the 17th or 18th centuries kept in a small secluded room.
ENJOY THE ART AND CULTURE OUTDOORS
Visit the old command post and the Old Prison of San Juan Bautista surrounded by the Rio Grande. Admire the stone and adobe structures that are surrounded by beautiful spaces full of wildlife.
Take a tour of the cultural center where artistic and musical events are hosted and the historic remains of a Sabinosaurio (Kritosaurus) are on display. Check out the outdoor theater and enjoy one of the many cultural events taking place in there.
