The Pegüis bird lends its name to the imposing 8 mile-long canyon that crosses the Conchos River at Km 198 (mile 123) of the Ojinaga-Chihuahua road.
Take in the beautiful landscapes, interact with nature, and go canoeing, kayaking, or boating among huge walls up to 1100 feet high.
Experience the adventure of taking the complete tour. Feel the adrenaline of rafting at a medium to high level.
Travel light and walk through the El Salto area, since it is impossible to navigate by other means. The walk takes about 50 minutes along a small ravine, among nopales, biznagas, and sharp stones.
Continue by taking a quiet dip and rappelling down the steep walls.
Stand on the lookout over the highway and admire its whimsical formations. Visit between April and October to avoid extreme temperatures.
