Meet the sacred spaces of Valle de Bravo
Upon entering the port city, you will find the monument of Efren Olalde de Sanchez in which a dove of peace and a tail of whale is outlined.
Traverse the coastal waterfront promenade on foot or bike and enjoy an ice cream, have a beer, and stop to take a photo next to one of his sixteen famous sculptures. Stop by the Whale Museum and learn everything about whale evolution, their habitats and behaviors and even their influence on the region's cave art. The Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Anthropology will amaze you with the area’s culture and history.
Stroll through the Velasco Garden with its picturesque kiosk and enter the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Paz to see paintings rescued from old missions. Be sure to check out City Hall and look for the library inside.
