its important museums.
Museo del Cuale - Located on the Isla de Rio Cuale in the city
center, this small museum offers a general panorama of the history of western
Mexico. It also has temporary exhibits of handicrafts, art and regional
folklore. In addition, the museum displays an excellent collection of
pre-Hispanic objects. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00.
