The Mexico Tourism Board supporting sponsor of the Grange Prize

The Mexico Tourism Board is a supporting sponsor of The Grange Prize along with media sponsors The Globe and Mail and Bravo Television.  The Mexican Consulate in Toronto helped to facilitate relationships with the partnering country.

Mexico is a country with an unparalleled cultural and artistic richness. Its historical and archaeological heritage, spanning back to prehispanic times, has a lasting influence on the country?s contemporary artistic expression. Culture is therefore an important factor in tourism promotion.

Over the last years, Mexican artists have contributed to position Mexico as a cultural destination. The Mexico Tourism Board, in turn, promotes art in order to expose Mexican art to the world?an art vibrant with colour and life, created and developed by talented artists.

The participation of the Mexico Tourism Board in the Art Gallery of Ontario reflects the influence of cultural tourism in Mexico. The board is pleased to see that Mexican cultural heritage is so proudly represented abroad.
