FLASH RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Discover Mexico through its magical towns

Montreal, 26th of February 2009

The Mexico Tourism Board has just released a flash clip about the magical towns of Mexico, places where all the country’s traditions meet and juxtapose to create the most enchanting atmosphere.

Along a history reaching back a thousand years BC, Mexico has created an exceptionally rich culture, borrowing from a number of influences and giving them its own unique and colourful flavour.

The many vibrant traditions of the pre-Hispanic, colonial and modern eras are still very much alive today all across the country and they are best experienced in the beautiful magical towns.

Mexico now has 29 sites inscribed in the UNESCO’s World Heritage List, many of which are historic cities with centuries-old architecture.

In this video, we invite you to discover the magical beauties of Mexico, such as Real de Catorce, San Miguel de Allende, Comala, Tequila, Pátzcuaro and San Cristóbal de las Casas. Explore the rich heritage of those cities, where important cultural legends and symbols of Mexico were born.

Mexico is beyond your expectations.
