Mexico showcases its Art
Destinations at the Bridge Art Fair in Miami
Miami, FL,-
November 24th, 2008-The Mexico Tourism Board is excited to promotes Mexico’s
important art centers and cultural destinations during the first edition of the
Bridge Art Fair Miami 2008, an independent art exhibition of new and emerging
Latin-American Art on December 4th through the 7th.
Mexico’s artistic cultural offerings are well
known in the international art spheres, as it has important and world renown
cultural centers such as: Mexico City one of the cities with the highest number
of world class museums and galleries, San Miguel de Allende a town that has
become home to artists from all over the world and Oaxaca, a city that in
recent years has experienced a boom in the art gallery business.
Mexico’s own renowned
painters such as Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Tamayo among others had spread
the Mexican culture, the colors, the traditions and the Mexican themes beyond
the borders.
The Mexico Tourism Board will have a booth at the LatinAmericanBridge, to promote Mexico’s
important art destinations at this cultural event that will gather over 60 art
galleries and will attract more than 1500 visitors interested in the
contemporary Latin-American art, as well as the crucial art centers.
The Mexico Tourism Board proud to participate in
events that endorse Mexican artists as well as the important galleries that Mexico has.
Bridge Art Fair is a parallel event that takes place
during the renowned Art Basel in Miami Beach at
the CatalinaHotel located at 1732 Collins Avenue, from the 4th
to the 7th of December.
