TOURISM BOARD HOSTS “THE BEST OF MEXICO
TRAVEL SHOW” IN MIAMI
The Mexico Tourism
Board, along with the most renowned members of the travel industry in South Florida including tour operators, travel agents and
journalists participated in “The Best of Mexico Travel Show” for
the first time ever. The exclusive event, held at the Biltmore Hotel on
September 17th featured an array of exciting destinations within Mexico,
as well as popular airlines, hotels and service providers.
During the opening
breakfast, Artemio Santos, Chief Operation Officer of the Mexico Tourism Board
along with Teresa Villarreal, Director of the Mexico Tourism Board in Miami spoke about the attractive and multifaceted tourism
offering that Mexico
has to offer, as well as the top tier services and superior infrastructure
within Mexican destinations.
Participating destinations
included: Guanajuato, Yucatan,
Veracruz, Oaxaca,
Huatulco, Riviera
Maya, and Cancun among others.Popular airlines such as Aeromexico and Alma;
hotels such as Fiesta Americana, Sol Melia and Capella Hotels & Resorts;
and car rental companies such as Avis, also took part in this informative
event, geared toward the tourism industry.
