Ensenada’s very own Valle de Guadalupe prepares to play host once again during the Horse, Wine and Art Festival, set to take place at Adobe Guadalupe Vineyards and Inn on Sunday, May 25. Expected to be an unforgettable event, this festival will showcase the regions best equestrianism, wine, arts and gastronomy for all ages to enjoy.

The festival commences very early and continues until sundown with various equestrian events that allow riders to show off their horses through exhibition jumping, horse dancing displays, a barrel race competition and much more. Also available will be various musical performances such as folkloric dancing, and traditional Banda as well as wine tasting from Baja’s very best wineries, arts and crafts exhibitions and a wide array of Mexican and international food.

Receiving guests from Southern California and Baja California alike, this year’s festival is expected to surpass the 2,000 guest mark from last year. This event is organized yearly by Elisa Arredondo Morales; pre-sale tickets are $20 (220 pesos) and $25 day-of (250 pesos).

Covering 60 acres of vineyards in the Guadalupe Valley, the Adobe Guadalupe Vineyards is a picturesque working winery with a bed and breakfast. The vineyards were first planted in 1998 with the first harvest proudly presented in 2000.
