in Celebration of the Horse, Wine and Art Festival
Ensenada’s very own Valle
de Guadalupe prepares to play host once again during the Horse, Wine and Art
Festival, set to take place at Adobe Guadalupe Vineyards and Inn
on Sunday, May 25. Expected to be an unforgettable event, this festival will
showcase the regions best equestrianism, wine, arts and gastronomy for all ages
to enjoy.
The festival commences very early and continues until sundown with
various equestrian events that allow riders to show off their horses through
exhibition jumping, horse dancing displays, a barrel race competition and much
more. Also available will be various musical performances such as folkloric
dancing, and traditional Banda as well as wine tasting from Baja’s very
best wineries, arts and crafts exhibitions and a wide array of Mexican and
international food.
Receiving guests from Southern California and Baja California alike, this year’s
festival is expected to surpass the 2,000 guest mark from last year. This event
is organized yearly by Elisa Arredondo Morales; pre-sale tickets are $20 (220
pesos) and $25 day-of (250 pesos).
Covering 60 acres of vineyards in the GuadalupeValley,
the Adobe Guadalupe Vineyards is a picturesque working winery with a bed and
breakfast. The vineyards were first planted in 1998 with the first harvest
proudly presented in 2000.
