Magic: Mexico's still got it!
Mexico's Ministry of
Tourism (SECTUR) and the Mexico Tourism Board (MTB) have officially launched a
North American recovery campaign, in order to reactivate the tourism industry.
The Mexican government has built credibility for its quick
actions and sanitation efforts during the crisis and the promotional campaign
will build upon this trust the government has earned. The exciting new
campaign's main message is to welcome you back and remind you that the Magic of
Mexico hasn't changed.
The campaign will consist of three phases that will be
carried out from the summer through the winter season in 12 major U.S. markets and six markets in Canada.
The first phase, "Believe It," will run for a
series of two weeks and carries strong, impacting statements from leaders such
as the President of the United
States, Barack Obama.
Phase
two, "Welcome Back," reminds you of those magical moments that bond
you to Mexico.
And phase three, titled "Mexico-It's Time To
Go" will entice you with amazing deals and packages that will be difficult
to resist.
"Mexico is letting the world know that we are ready
to welcome back travelers and continue to offer the beauty, culture, history,
gastronomy, and pristine beaches our country is known for and of course, all
within great proximity and at a great value," said Oscar Fitch, CEO of the
MTB.
