China to be honored guest at 35th Festival Cervantino in Guanajuato

Long Live Art in Mexico City!

A significant number of talented young artists in different disciplines will gather from March 12th through the 29th, during the Festival of Mexico at the Centro Histórico (Historic Center) in Mexico City, one of the most important cultural centers in Latin America.

This year, the festival will celebrate its 25th Anniversary with 280 different activities in more than 60 venues around the city.  More than 250,000 people are expected to attend and it is the perfect time to visit this great capital. Whether you like performing arts, visual expressions or are looking for activities with children, this is THE event to live the arts…and something more.

Besides the Historic Center, which is a World Heritage Site, you should see the world class Anthropology Museum; Teotihuacan, once the largest urban center of the New World; Xochimilco Ecological Park, often called the Venice of Mexico; and San Angel, with its Saturday bazaar.
