Highway 140 links Xalapa to state capital Veracruz, which lies 104 km (64 mi) east, and to Mexico City, which is 322 km (200 mi) west. Highway 150 connects the city to Puebla, which is located 203 km (126 mi) west. Xalapa has a bus terminal that offers first- and second-class service on lines UNO, ADO, GL and AU. The city has a national airport where you can catch flights to major Mexican cities on Aeromexico, Aeromar and Mexicana.

 

El Lencero National Airport. Located 12 km (7 mi) east of Xalapa, on the southern side of the Xalapa-Veracruz Highway.

 

Xalapa Bus Terminal (CAXA). Located on Av. Lazaro Cardenas.
