Veracruz is one of the best-linked destinations in Mexico. Highway 150 connects Veracruz to Mexico City, Highway 180 leads to Villahermosa and Highway 140 will take you to Xalapa, the state capital. At the bus terminal you can take the following lines: ADO, UNO, AU and TRV. Veracruz also has an international airport with service from such carriers as Mexicana, Aeromexico, Aerolitoral, Lineas Aereas Azteca, Aerotucan, Aerocalifornia and Continental Airlines.
