Highway 2 links Tijuana to the cities of Tecate and Mexicali, which lie 35
km (22 mi) and 189
km (117 mi) east, respectively. To reach the port of Ensenada, take
Scenic Highway 1 about 113 km (70 mi) south. Tijuana has three bus terminals offering service on lines Elite/Transportes Norte
de Sonora, Estrellas del Pacifico, Estrella Blanca, Transportes y Autobuses del
Pacifico, Transportes del Pacifico, Subur Baja,
Transportes al Volante, Estrella de Baja California, Aguila
Autotransportes, Transportes Ejecutivos Peninsula, Turimex and Greyhound/Golden
State, which provides service to California?s main cities. The city also has an international airport where you can
catch flights on Aeromexico, Aviasca,
Mexicana, Aerolineas Azteca and Aerocalifornia.
