Highway 49 links San Luis Potosi to the city of Zacatecas, which lies 190 km (118 mi) northwest. Highway 57 will take you to Queretaro, located 208 km (129 mi) southeast, and to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, which is 514 km (318 mi) north. San Luis Potosi has a bus terminal offering service on the following lines: Turistar Ejecutivo, Futura, Transportes del Norte, Transportes Tamaulipas, Estrella Blanca, Primera Plus, Omnibus de Mexico and ETN. If you?d like to take a domestic flight out of the city?s international airport, carriers Mexicana, Aerolitoral, Aerocalifornia, Aeromar and Aeromexpress offer service to Aguascalientes, Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City. United and Continental Airlines have flights departing from San Luis Potosi to various U.S. cities.
